This work has been underway over the last few weekends as planned. Unfortunately however, because of the very adverse weather, a number of the time slots during which this work was planned could not go ahead.
Highways England are therefore planning to return on the 18th, 19th and 20th October 2019 to complete the surfacing works.
These works will be carried out under the same closures (full northbound carriageway closure, diversion through Bolton-Le-Sands and Carnforth). The existing Traffic Regulation Order will still be in place and communications will be sent out to hauliers and the general public as for the previous work.
