A planning application has now been submitted for the creation of a McDonalds drive-thru restaurant on the Electric Drive business park. The application is due to be discussed at the Parish Council meeting on Tuesday, 27th May 2025.

On 18th October 2024, Parish Councillors met with agents and representatives of McDonalds to discuss the company’s developing proposals for a restaurant on the Electric Drive site adjacent to the Porsche Centre.
